Michael's first career was in community development. He worked in Bloomington for local government and not-for-profit agencies that specialize in affordable and special-needs housing projects. He left Bloomington to earn his law degree at Capital University Law School, and then returned to begin a new career in higher education. After four and a half years as an academic advisor at the IU Kelley School of Business, he joined the LAMP team—and he hasn’t looked back. Michael is also a Crossfit enthusiast, with a new fascination for hot fusion yoga. He enjoys reading all sorts of books and seeing lots of good movies and plays. During the 2020-2021 school year, Michael will be teaching the LAMP-X 215 Critical Thinking Lab for the LAMP honors certificate.
