Clinical Associate Professor
IU Kelley School of Business
Hodge Hall 3100
This is Professor Jan Hillier’s second time around at IU. She received her business education from Indiana University, earning an M.B.A. and a Ph.D. in organization theory. She also holds an M.S. from Purdue University in counseling and a B.A from DePauw University. Six years ago, she returned to IU as a clinical assistant professor of management at the IU Kelley School of Business. She began teaching in LAMP a year later. In addition to her university positions, she has been a psychotherapist, management consultant, and hospital vice president. She and her husband, Craig Hamilton, a retired theatre professor, have two Samoyeds—Pandemonium and Trango—as well as Kaleidoscope, a Retriever-Pit Bull mix they adopted from the animal shelter. Being a diverse family, they also have two cats, Pushkin and Beckett. There is never a dull—or quiet—moment in their house in the woods, which they purchased to get away from the noise and chaos of city living.
