IU Kelley School of Business
2427 E. Second Street
Professor Stemler is a former LAMPer who was greatly influenced by the program in two ways. First, she figured out she wanted to be an entrepreneur by helping start the Virtu Project. That experience led her to start several companies with her husband, including a boutique hotel in downtown Bloomington. Second, she was bitten by the travel bug because LAMP helped send her to Ecuador and Australia. Now, she's an avid airline miles collector, which helps feed her insatiable desire to travel. If you want to talk airline points, she'll bore you for hours! She is also fascinated by the sharing economy (Uber, Airbnb, etc.) and crowdfunding, and she spends much of her time thinking and writing about those topics.
