Find Your Formula for a Perfect Career
It’s never business as usual in the Liberal Arts and Management Program at the IU's College of Arts and Sciences. More and more, employers are looking for graduates from the liberal arts and sciences who know how to manage projects, people, systems, and organizations.
We offer two distinct paths for students who are interested in the intersection of business and liberal arts: our major in Management + Human Organization, and our LAMP honors certificate. Through courses in the College and the IU Kelley School of Business, LAMP students challenge the status quo, explore many perspectives, boost their credentials, and prepare to become great leaders.
Major in Management + Human Organization
Does the business world or how human organizations run intrigue you? Are you interested in what makes for effective management and communication? Would you like to get involved in management in your professional life? If so, the B.A. in Management + Human Organization may be a good fit for you.
You will take core courses from highly skilled faculty in both the College of Arts + Sciences and the Kelley School of Business and explore how the business world works as well as why it works. Through your coursework, you will develop fundamental communication, business, and analytical skills while also gaining a critical understanding of the place of business in society today.
Already have a major you love? Apply for our selective Honors Certificate
How does a chemistry student become a patents advisor for lifesaving inventions? How does a love for studio art lead to a career directing community design projects? Combine your interests with a foundation in management courses, and you’ll learn how to influence and direct what matters to you.
Our honors certificate students come together from wildly different majors—like astronomy, musical theatre, neuroscience, and apparel merchandising—to bridge the Liberal Arts and Business.
