Each year, we invite IU's best and brightest to join our prestigious honors-level program. We encourage students with strong academic records, wide interests, and leadership potential to apply. So, if you're a natural leader with a passion for new ideas, our LAMP certificate may be a good fit for you.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

To receive a LAMP certificate, students must have a minimum GPA of 3.3 at the time of graduation.

It's never too early to begin thinking about your future in LAMP. Even if you're not sure you want to apply, or not sure you'll qualify, you should talk to our LAMP advisor. That's the best way to know if LAMP is a good fit for you.

Preparatory courses

LAMP has no course prerequisites for admission. But if you're thinking about joining our community, you might consider taking one or more of the following classes before you apply. 

• College of Arts and Sciences foundations requirement in English composition
• College of Arts and Sciences foundations requirement in mathematics
• ECON B251: Fundamentals of Economics for Business 1
• ECON B252: Fundamentals of Economics for Business 2
• BUS A200: Foundations of Accounting
• MATH B110: Mathematics for Business and Public Affairs
• At least one course in your intended major area of study

To receive a LAMP Honors Certificate, students must have an overall minimum GPA of 3.3 at the time of graduation.
