LAMP Honors Certificate

Do you want to understand capitalism and corporations? Do you want to navigate the workplace as a business insider? Want to work for or create a company that does good in the world?

LAMP courses are taught in a small-class environment where students are encouraged to engage with their LAMP community both in and out of the classroom. The certificate curriculum includes classes in management, business law, and computer applications in the Kelley School, as well as economics courses in the College.

True leadership is built from experience. That’s why the LAMP program includes opportunities to gain firsthand perspective of real-world problems, diverse viewpoints, and the delicate balance between business and society through experiences that include the following:

• Social and LAMP community activities

While you're studying what interests you through your major—outer space, sustainable interior design, or the evolution of mountains—your small LAMP seminars bring LAMP faculty and students together to examine current issues in the global business climate from multiple perspectives and points of view. You'll explore important questions like how supply and demand works in black markets, how to think about consumerism in American society, and whether the American Dream is viable today. These seminars are taught by outstanding professors in a small-classroom environment, with students who are curious and creative, like you.

You'll also take courses in management, business law, and computer applications in the IU Kelley School of Business—and economics courses in the College—which are an excellent complement to your small LAMP seminars.

The powerful combination of a business, economics, and liberal arts education will help you cultivate intellectual curiosity, flexibility, and problem solving skills that set you apart from your peers.
