For thirty years, LAMP has formed a bridge between the Liberal Arts and professional training. With this new IU College of Arts + Sciences major, students take Liberal Arts courses from a range of disciplines and they supplement those insights with foundational management and skills training provided by the IU Kelley School of Business.
Management + Human Organization courses help students:
- Communicate clearly and listen empathetically
- Collaborate effectively
- Become familiar with basic business skills and practices
- Develop intellectual agility
- Frame and answer questions from multiple (sometimes competing) approaches
- Understand business in social, cultural, historical, and ethical contexts
